"Dogfights" on History channel

Other than a somewhat biased leaning towards our American brethren, I liked this series – just wondered if anybody else had thoughts etc…..

I enjoyed the F4J ‘showtime 100’ dogfight with the MIG’s, i am surprised that no one has ever found out if the MIG 17 they shot down WAS Colonel Toons aircraft and not just ‘believed to be’.

But i agree the series is quite one sided.

An interesting series – 2 seasons’ worth of episodes (although I’ve not seen a number of the second season episodes).

I had heard several months ago that the series had been canceled due to lagging ratings. The program is also available on DVD, and is now an online game.

I’ve been amazed by the archival footage – some great Sabre and MiG-21 material including aerobatic teams.

Yes I have seen a couple of programs, they are well done, also Americanized for sure, the one where the Dauntless pilot shoots down the Zeros is very good , also the ones in “Mig” alley are excellent and enjoyed the one program on Bud Anderson, but I do hope they do some RAF and RCAF types for sure.
