Doha Qatar in September

Thanks Glens… Anyone know the purpose of the modifications around the nosewheel on the A330F’s??

No this was from the old terminal (I think) I believe the new terminal has been delayed further and not expected to open till 2014 now, the layout of Doha seems mental, we arrived on Flydubai which parked remotely, then bussed all the way past the terminal these were shot from to a ramshackle run down building which was the arrivals terminal.. nearly a 10 min bus ride, then i was told at immigration that i didnt need to clear customs and was directed to a transfer desk to catch another bus all the way back to the terminal i shot from (A nice open modern building) which i felt wasnt right as i was’nt a transit passenger, i was changing airlines here, anyway, got to the transfer desk and i was correct, so, an hour of faffing about while they located my checked bag and sorted a boarding pass for the Kuwait flight ensued, leaving me with really only about an hour to shoot!! then at boarding time it was onto another bus which went ALL the way round the runway to get to the remote stand my A310 was on which took almost 30 mins!!!..

Excellent Scotty ! You got a fair few decent movements there. Qatar Cargo A330F – excellent ! When we came back from Beijing we stopped at Doha but I only managed to grab one shot of a Qatar A321. Is this the new terminal you were in ? They were still building the new one when we staged through last year and sun was on the wrong side.
