Doncaster/Sheffield Airport info

Looks like the cheapest route to FAO for me next summer is with TOM from Doncaster/Sheffield/Robin Hood/Maid Marion Airport :p (only 1 1/2 fron Cannock!!!)

Anybody Got any experience from this airpot? Facilites etc. I normally fly from BHX but this saves the family £400 😮

It doesn’t matter to you now, but for anyone else venturing to DSA.

We flew with TOM from Donny to Valencia. Airport is very compact, not much to do airside (newsagent and a cafe), but as it’s so quiet everything is done really quickly. On our return from getting off the aircraft to getting in the car with our luggage took just 15 minutes! Car park is right outside the terminal so no need to get on a bus.

Road signs for the airport don’t start until the motorway junction you need to take, then there is plenty of signage.

My only concern is back up for technical problems. No doubt minor repairs can be sorted, but anything major could cause real delays.

We saw a C17 Globemaster coming in to land which is not something you see every day!

Very Nice airport from landside, never been airside, but nice spacious and staff are friendly, if a little green (which is to be expected), ohh and remember to take a spare £1 coin with you for the baggage trolley
