doncaster to palma with thompson fly

arrived at doncaster had preebooked car into carpark was so easy walked over to terminal to find checkin just about to open nobody in line at all just started to checkinn when a party of 4 pensioners came up and said could we just ask this young lady serving you a question so said yes no problems they then said is this the palma checkin yes came the reply oh right their is 4 of us and handeed over the confirmation letter .
well to say i was gobsmacked was a understatement i then told them were was being checked in to which they started going on about not being able to walk far and needing wheeel chair ass and pre boarding so i said ok and did my good samariten bit, any way checked in told we would be flying early straight thru to departures .
only plane their was a 767 going to dalaman so waited about 17.50 a 737 arrived and we had a departure time of 18.15 i realised we was not about to go early called for boarding at 18.20by seat number with that all the 70 or so people traveling on the flight made a mad rush for the plane resulting in chaos glad to say the lady on the gate then started checking seat no on boarding cards and making people who had not been called wait out of line .
never seen this before but it was good to watch got our seat just in front of wing plane seemed a bit worn and messy i found a half eaten apple in my seat pocket when i went to get it out it was rotting away so it had seen a few flights took off at 18.40 pilot telling us we would still land on time in palma .
we then had a very smooth flight down to palma stewards was very pleasant no turbulence landed in palma at 21.50 parked at gate 47c on disembarking this is the best bit .
[remember the pensioners from check in well the proceeded to disembark the plane like 4 linford christies ]and beat most people down to baggage hall think ill try that on return journey lol
