Thanks for bringing that to our attention. I’ve always loved the Do335 but never ever thought I see film of one in flight.

Cool links both!
TT, I’d always wondered whether the Shinden actually flew and that footage answered that question. Looks like they had a few prop strike issues… little did they realise that thirty years later (1980’s), bent blades would be all the rage!!!
Brilliant, thanks both.

Welcome!
They´re built by Flugwerk in Germany.
The motors are Huosai HS-7s – Chinese license built versions of the Russian Schvetsov ASch 82 T. They´re doing an Allison powered Dora 9 “longnose” too.

Restored FW190A
Hi Guys
First time on this site so be gentle.
Like most of us I am a big warbird enthusiast and always keep an eye on the preservtion circuit.
I am trying to find out the correct line on this amazing Fw190 re-build (replica?) that at present is siting at Duxford without a display permitt due to CAA red tape and stuff.
Does anyone have any more info on this. I think the powerplant is of Russian origin and I have seen the short video of it doing its firsy ‘quick hop’ test flight on you tube last month.
Any info?

Well, I’m impressed!
And boy, does that Horten glider look dangerous! Rather you than me, dear boy!
(is that Robert Kronfeld in the cockpit, or does the HoIX post-date his exit to the UK?)

Fantastic bit of video! I didn’t think there’d be much in the way of film footage of the ‘335.
