Hi,
I remember the Invader crash in 1980 at Biggin, as mentioned on another thread, but have another question about what I consider to be a lovely aircraft.
I’m pretty interested in the B-26K Counter Invader, but how many survive?
And how many Invaders fly in Europe? Also, are there any rotting airframes this side of the Atlantic?
Thanks all,
C6

At present only one A-26 fly in Europe. This is a Rock Island modified Monarch executive version, and it is based in Oslo, Norway. There is another exec. version which is in near flyable condition in Greece. This is an On-Mark modified Marketeer.
Two brothers in Kent imported an A-26 in 1987 for rebuild to fly, but it is now located somewhere in the UK in a rather bad shape. Add to that an A-26 in France which is/was supposed to be restored to fly, and that’s about it!

Go on the WIX site and look under the Warbird Registry. Everything you need is there.
