You could probably try ringing the rectory at Sprotborough, its a guest house now owned by a friend of mine. He’s really proud of the Bader connection, so would probably know.

Did Douglas fly into Doncaster whilst in the employ to Shell to visit his mother at Sprotborough?

I don’t know when the Rev & Mrs Hobbs (ex Bader) left Sprotborough so couldn’t say, but there is a story that Bader buzzed the Rectory in 1928 on a visit in a service aircraft.
