An upcoming documentary film will feature a meeting between the former F-117 pilot Dale Zelko and the former commander of the Serb S-125 battery that downed the stealth plane during the 1999 Kosovo conflict.
Dale Zelko and Zoltan Dani were on opposite sides of the Kosovo conflict.
The first encounter between the two men came on the night of March 27, 1999. Zoltan Dani’s Serbian anti-aircraft unit shot down the US F-117 Stealth fighter that Dale Zelko was piloting.
The event made headlines around the world. The ‘impossible’ had happened: a Stealth plane shot down.
For the first time, this new documentary tells the story of what happened that night, and how it affected the lives of two men.
