Last week, the families of four of the missing people wrote to Vladimir Putin, Russia’s president, asking him to step up the search effort.
The chances of this incident turning out well in the end are getting slimmer and slimmer… 🙁

Among the missing men are the Chief of Serov city police, three police inspectors, the guard of the airport, a private company guard, a pensionist, a young unemployed guy and a local mobile shop owner.
The questions that come from that alone are staggering – were the chief of police and the police inspectors drunk as well? Were they kidnapped? If so, how the hell did two drunks kidnap 4 police officers and a private guard?!
Only in Russia I guess.

More than 1,000 people have been involved in the massive search operation for a light plane hijacked by a party of revellers from an airfield in the Urals last week, emergency officials said on Monday.
No news is “bad news” in this case… 🙁

Hmm. That sounds bad. I wonder how this will pan out.
