Close 🙂 On the F-16, they are “just” conformal fuel tanks. No sensors, no ammunition attached to them.
The F-15 in an E version, so, you have just bomb racks on the pylons (they might be able to receive air to air missile adapters, but I doubt it)
Here a link to a shema of what is what
Many thanks for that it all makes sense to me now.

I assume that the shoulder pods on the F-16 are FAST packs (Fuel and Sensor Tactical)serving the same purpose as the far neater ones you see alongside the engine ducting on the F-15 shots. Looking at the under fuselage mounts on the -15 I the outboard ones appear to be missile rails and the inboard ones appear to be bomb shackles.
Sorry just had another look and realise I’ve got it the wrong way around.

Excellent pictures civilspotter, what are the two large shoulder pods on the F-16 for and how many missiles can the F-15 carry under it’s belly, there seems to be two lots of pylon?

Cracking shots. How old does the Eurofighter look when compared to the Raptor lol. Still an impressive aircraft all round though, and very impressive as a display aircraft
