Took myself a daytrip to Dusseldorf this weekend. The plan was to only stop there briefly to catch the Tajik Tupolev, and then continue on to Frankfurt. However, due to roadworks it took twice as long to get to DUS then planned, and we could not be bothered to drive a further 3 hours down to FRA.
Weather was not ideal with barely any sun at all.
All pictures where made with a Canon 30D and a brand new 100-400L. This time I went to the train station observation deck, not the perimeter, as it was raining from time to time.
I’ll be in the London area from wednesday to saturday. So expect more photos to pop up next week.

Cracking pics, like the LTU 330 touchdown. What is the A330 in the first pic on the left?
That’s an Air Berlin/LTU plane with the new livery and logo.

Nice to see a different selection from lands not too far away, cracking shots. Also to note the TU-154 is it parked up or pushing back using his own stream as the thrust reversers are deployed?

The Tupolev was parked like that all day, and apparantly already since wednesday. The thrust reversers being open means nothing.
