Wasn’t easy
Hey….I happen to like Cessnas.
I got a whopping 61% so I wasn’t all that hot either.
The Airliner World part gave me the most trouble. I know a fair amount about airliners, but not the airlines themselves.
The Today’s Pilot part threw me on a few questions, and it shouldn’t have seeing as I’m working on my private license.
AFM and Flypast were okay, but I messed up a fair number of questions on those.
And I agree, if you don’t know British aircraft serials you are quite screwed.

Yeah, I thought there were far too many question relating to the UK area, such as registrations of aircraft etc.
But then I thought – If the questions had only referred to Qantas, would I have done any better.
The answer was a resounding …..Nup!!!
As I said, dumb as dog…t!!! Thank heavens for the Flypast and General Discussion forums.
Never could interested in all those silly little Cessnas and Pipers, anyway…

i think today’s pilot, flypast, and airliners world may have a more – err uk centric audience than the more cosmpolitian AFM …… sorry lads (then agian it didn’t help me 😉 )

Got 65%, but with all civvie/light stuff questions guessed. The quiz was IMHO a bit too Britain-centered anyway, especially in the civ and vintage parts of it. But hey, it was a fun pastime.

I have never really been a competitive person, so I would have trouble finding the motivation… of course there is always someone who will spend a long time getting all the answers right and piping you at the post. 25 pound sounds nice, but I am starting from rather a disadvantage that I am realy only interested in Soviet and now Russian aircaft which makes up only a very small percentage of the questions… and surfing on the net is a free time thing… I work to earn money, not surf to earn it.

I got about 44%.
I am not really that familiar with American airports and the serial numbers of aircraft in British museums I am afraid… I did know what engine powers the Mig-29 however… 🙂

I got 59% but much of the modern and airliner stuff was guesswork. I noticed a couple of catch questions in there as well, at least I thought they were.
