Had a nice flight down and an excellent parking spot in front of the 747 and some good weather for the show!

The 747’s original cowlings are standing up on thier leading edges near the old control tower. They appear to be being used as skips as they’re full of rubbish!

i spend lots of time rounf the TG track and the engine is from a B-52 and was just a mess about.

Love the Hunter shots, brought back to mind the one we had around here briefly. Unfortunately the pilot pranged it severely on its maiden flight and the second one was sold off.

Good set of shots especially number 7,but can you shed any light as to why the engines on the 747 seem to have been joined at the hip so to speak.:) was this some kind of experiment or people just having a bit of fun.:)..cheers
