So I went to Dunsfold today, and while I was disappointed about the Vulcan, I did enjoy the rest of the show. It was quite a different atmosphere from Duxford, but nontheless I had a great time.
As a result of the Vulcan cancellation, I’m going to try and go to the show at Old Sarum. (their having a Hurricane & Swordfish on the billet right now certainly helped me to make the ticket purchase decision). Anyone know anything about that particular venue? We live quite a few hours away so other than getting up pretty early that morning does anyone have any advice? It sounds a bit smaller and perhaps more intimate like Old Warden (or at least what I’ve heard about Old Warden)….does that sound accurate? Anyone been?
Oh and a side note, the Turbulent Display Team was fantastic! I’ve never seen anything like that, and it was completely unexpected for me.

Isn’t Duxford’s BoB air show the following weekend or will you not be able to attend both?

That’s a coincidence, I’ looking at Old Sarum too, I’m just debating whether to go there or Duxford
