Finally after a long time without spotting I had the opportunity to go out again. The last time, not couting a brief visit at EIN, was early September in Moscow.

Due to snow the visitors terrace at both the railway station and the terminal where closed. Instead I stood on the stairs outside one of the emergency exits at the railway station´s monorail stop. Most of the day was cloudy but for one hour I had some sun which combined with the snow gave good photo opportunities.

I’ve long been waiting to get a Mahan Air shot. They have flown into DUS for over a year now, but I kept missing it.

One of only a handfull still in the old livery.

Apologies for the slight green cast on the left. I tried shooting through a gate but appear to have misjudged the space.
