Great news as I thought it had all been scrapped. The fuselage guns had been hacked out with an angle grinder I was told.

The remains of the IJsselmeer Messerschmitt are currently being installed in the new Atlantikwall Centre in Den Helder. A fitting location, as the aircraft was shot down by AA-fire during a raid on Den Helder’s airfield De Kooy in May 1940. The pilot survived. Complete wing, substantial fuselage section and smaller parts to be on display soon.
