Today at 11:35 LT the Dutch Constellation made her first short flight in 2 years with the new prop system. The flight consisted only of one circuit at Schiphol airport.

For those that want to catch it, Tuesday evening at 18:30 it is expected at Lelystad. Pity I can’t come myself.

Yes, I think so.
The seal has some essential elements from the seal of Lelystad (http://www.ngw.nl/l/lelystad.htm), the capital of the province of Flevoland: the sealion struggling to come out of the water. This clearly reflects the history of Flevoland, which was reclaimed from the IJssellake (IJsselmeer) in the 1940’s.

Never mind that question, I found out. It is not Lelystad but the province of Flevoland instead which incidentally Lelystad is the capital of.

What’s the city seal on the forward fuselage? The seal of Lelystad perhaps?
