What the exact consequences of the loss of 250,000 euros per year, KLM donated remains to be seen, but it is clear that the plane ride season begins later.

“The PH-PBA, the DC-3 classic KLM colors, its winter maintenance will later because KLM must first work on its own Boeing 737,” said Jaski.
“We must by July 1 looking for new hangar space for storage.”

The PH-DDZ, the Dakota in Martinair colors, not flying. “He is waiting for new engines, but for that we are doing a lot.”

Due to the delayed maintenance flies the PH-PBA probably until May again, instead-April. Where the aircraft is parked after 1 July is not yet clear. “We’ve been a while stationed at Lelystad Airport, but the airport authority had our preference because a lot of our volunteers live in the neighborhood. But we see all the space we – can get “- the correct rates.

Sad news but I’m not surprised given KLM’s ongoing financial struggles.
I do hope the DDA is able to continue its great work and keep these fine aircraft in the air.
