Hi All,
Great day out! Thanks very much Ashley, you did a damn good job. I hope those of you who made the pub, afterwards, are not suffering to badly with the old head:p
Thanks to everyone involved,
Neilly

Glad to hear it went well.
Will we be seeing any photos of you all on this thread?
Geoff.

Naw,
The last lettuce leaf beat me :p
Ashley. Thank you so much, it was a really top day and it would be invidious to single out any one part of it for praise. It only fell to pieces after you stopped looking after us.
As you may have gathered we arrived at the Red Lion at Hinxton to find a small disconsolate group huddled by the front door waiting for it to open, whilst the people inside spent their time glancing out the window, much as to say “look at that lot of tw*ts queuing to get in.” As they were doing this from choice rather than for any legal reason we stood as much as we could and then at about one minute to opening time my patience (?) cracked and I left for Whittlesford.
Fortunately most of the remainder also voted with their feet and followed.
At Whittlesford we had a warm welcome, lots of Broadside, and several others risked the Roadkill Platter.
I worry about the sort of people who run a business and leave punters, who are eager to give them money, standing on the doorstep.
Moggy.
Mrs Moggy thought FlyPast people seem a good bunch. And she wasn’t drinking. (much)

Cheers Rebecca – absolutely top-notch day – again. Many thanks also to Lee Proudfoot, an excellent talk, and well answered questions.
And a big ‘up-yours’ to a certain pub, but full marks to another!
