Duxford 15 & 16 May 2010 Spring Show

Both days at Duxford very pleasant and good weather apart from a dark bit during the last hour on Sunday with a small shower and a little excitement when the fire tenders rushed to the Airspaice hangar which was temporarily evacuated.

Thanks for the great weekend.

Very nice for the Sun to come out a few seconds for the Hunter and Sabre to come round the corner.

Did you play with the background of the early Miss Demeanour shots Martin? If not that is some weird light to be shooting in.

Thank you Mike and everyone else again for the nice comments.

The Hunter went up to go home just prior to the Sabre display. It got generally dull by this time. I was looking anxiously for that little crack in the cloud for the sun to shine through and thankfully the sun came out for a few second which made the cloud look darker or rather more saturated.

However, I could not resist making the sky about 20 per cent darker when editing.

The last Hunter/Sabre shot ‘coming round the corner’ was not in the sunshine hence no dark sky.

Very nice Martin, as the others say, especially the Hunter nad Sabre against the dark sky.
Also an unusual angle on the Sabre climbing away from you, and the Sea Fury coming towards you looks almost like an air-to-air!
