Due to the cloud and rain, not the ideal of conditions to photograph and fly in and many of the arrivals had postponed until tomorrow. The 2 Hawks arrived during a rain storm and after a couple of passes flew off, possibly to Cambridge for the longer runway. The Chinook flew in during the morning as did the Grace Spitfire. The Gladiator made a brief appearance outside as the Hawk was extracted from the TFC hanger so Stephen Grey could go flying. A very good display it was to considering the conditions.
I finally got a Sony eye piece adapter for my Zigview so a few different angles here achieved by not lying prone on the ground.

Some lovely shots there. The Blenheim looks to be progressing nicely, she’s been sadly missed these last few years. Nice to see the Gladiator back in inter war colours.

In picture 2 showing the Chinook, is that a Harvard in the background and if so which one?
its a yak 52 i shall try and find a pic as ive seen it many’a time
i believe this is the one tho im not 100% sure its similar tho

Looks like a Yak 52 to me.
Nice shots Penpusher. I have been experimenting with those angles my self. I have to get down on the floor though lol.
