Duxford 2005 Flying Proms

A few shots from yesterdays superb Flying Proms spectacular. Highlight of the evening was the superb Christian Moulle and his squadron of geese, simply amazing.

In rather cloudy conditions yet thankfully dry, a large crowd enjoyed some some fine flying with appropriate orchestral backing.

Here’s a few photos to start with.

Thanks Septic
Very nice.

ps: If Real Messerschmitts have Merlins – does that mean that Real Spitfires have Griffons? 😀

excellent, always love watching the geese/microlight combo – dunno why really, but its certainly different to most airshow acts 🙂

Thanks Glenn,

I hope the weather at Weald was a little kinder than it was here.

I don’t think the Hurricane’s pilot will think you got his best side though 😀

Just out of curiosity, what music did they play for the Geese?

Moggy

Selections from Bizet’s Carmen, starting with the ‘Toreador’s song’.

The shot of the floodlit airliners is very moody 🙂
