It is the proof that a Fury simply can’t be ugly. It looks great, even in strange coulorshemes!

I second that emotion.Anyone who says otherwise can step outside and talk about it now :dev2:

Never heard of this movie before. I’ll have a look at MIDB to learn a bit more abot it.

Luftwaffe markings applied for Sky TV fil “Fall From Grace” (1994) directed by Waris Hussein and starring, amongst others James Fox, Michael York and Patsy Kensit. Based on a novel by Larry Collins, about a woman who joined the British Secret Service and some of her exploits. Shown in France as “Fortitude”.

Wow! Nice selection of pics there Laharve. I didn’t know this Fury has had so many paintshemes. 😎

Why was it painted in Luftwaffe livery? Did it participate in a movie or something?

Thanks chaps, yes those were the Iraqi days… 😎
I do believe it became British once more, but have no idea where it is now.

now… must dig through my pics and do some more posting… :diablo:

IIRC, the ex-OFMC Sea Fury is in South Africa in a FAA scheme.

It did indeed change to a Royal Navy scheme.
