Duxford as you don't normally see it

Thought we hadn’t mentioned Duxford for a while:

At 7:30 on Saturday BBC4 Billion Dollar Brain with Mr Caine. At the end of the film the scenes with the tankers crossing the ice were filmed on the main runway at Duxford in 1966. (Hence the white area on the runway in the overhead shots of Bof B film).

So there you go. As Mr Caine himself would have said: “not a lot of people know that”
