Is anybody able to post a update on the status of the Beaufighter at IWM Duxford please? My friends father flew them in combat during WW2 and we would like to make a visit to Duxford this winter to learn more about that aircraft and ideally get hanger access to view the a/c at close quarters. Any news, info or advice regarding a potential visit would be greatly appreciated.

It’s still sitting there without much being done to it, on the surface at least. As far as viewing it is concerned it’s probably worth contacting the Fighter Collection who I know are often very accommodating with things like this depending of course on how busy they are.
