P-39 ‘Brooklyn Bum’ is in the process of being broken down for containerisation and delivery to its new owner in America. The ‘Einkel’ is in the restoration hanger and looks to be having some work done to it and ‘Sally B’ is a three engined bomber again. P-51 ‘Old Crow’ is still in residence with most of it’s engine missing. Must be something about Legends and P-51’s breaking. Apart from the north side of hanger 2, all the other hangers appear to have had their glazing panels in the roof replaced and the lighting inside is now superb.
It’s been a while since I had my monopod out in public.

Great photos thanks for sharing them. The light level in the hangars looks much better now.

They looked alright close up.
So no one spotted something missing then? 😮

Reflected light perhaps, and a sign stuck on to the innner stbd flap?

What’s going on with the flaps on the Corsair?

Great set of quality photos, really liked the P39 in bits, just as interesting as the complete machine.
Thanks for posting 🙂
