I went to Duxford with the sole intention of using my Alpha 350 on ‘Manual’ to get away from my usual ‘AUTO’ mentality and to get my head around Aperture Settings/Shutter Speeds and what they could and couldn’t do. Quite impressed with the static shots I’ve come away with although some of the colour straight from the camera seems to be bright and vivid. Not the camera as I checked. Flying shots need improvement as most of them came out rather dark but as most were of the Classic Flight Rapides/Tiger Moths, they got deleted.
The Shackleton was outside again as the BMFA had taken over the Restoration part of AirSpace for a kids flying aeroplane competition. I found the Typhoon DA4 lurking in the spray bay of Hanger 5. Most of the ARCo fleet in Hanger 3 were missing and packed into the northern part of Hanger 2. Anna Walker flew out in the HAC Hurricane just after lunch and later on in the afternoon the F.86 departed for Kemble.

I uploaded these using the old uploader in photobucket and picture quality seems a lot better than the last lot I uploaded using the new system.
