Duxford D-Day Anniversary show

Great photos..

I always think that to be the case. Technically excellent though they may be, high resolution images, faultlessly exposed, of aircraft we have all seen a hundred times before photographed in a clear blue sky bore the pants off me. They don’t seem to capture the essence of flight.

That last one is brilliant! So emotive. The clouds really make it; you could believe the next waypoint is Normandy.
