Another day, another Spitfire!

Accompanied, today, by a pair of Extras.

Legitimate business flights are permitted too.

We’ve had our fair share of post maintenance, engine health, maintenance positioning flights, commercial training and the odd business flights at work.

Obviously all maintainance flights as no GA allowed I thought

Gloomy day, today, but it did not keep either of ARCO’s Spitfire T9s on the ground.

Great shots, good also to see some movement once again on the Duxford diary.

The sun brought the Spitfires out today!

Broussard, G-HOUR, also came in today but no photo.

Following the rapturous reception to the initial 2021 Diary post, I thought I would supply the highlights of January’s movements, which I was able to record.

These both occurred on 7th January, when BBMF Dakota ZA947 is pictured being swallowed up by AirSpace, for brief attention by ARCO, and a Cub did a few circuits.
