It appears all the Hurricanes are together now, I hope to get up to Duxford in the next few weeks before it closes

Anyone know what is the issues some are mentioning with the Tempest at Sywell?

It appears newly built aeroplanes from Sywell have a trip to Duxford within days of the first flight, anyone else noted this?

No idea of identity of the pilot of SR661 (and, perhaps, only a tenuous recollection of its registration!)

I thought the same CBEL

I am not being picky but the Fury is G-CBEL, slight misarrangement of the letters.

That’s is actually a really nice image of the Fury, Threshold2. Any idea who the pilot was as I wondering if Richard Grace had recovered enough from his traumatic experience to resume flying?

I am no longer a daily visitor but I hope that the corpse can receive the kiss of life.
 

Fury G-CBEL/SR661 had an outing on Wednesday, before the weather closed in.

Apologies that my first Duxford photo of the year is not a ‘warbird’ but, at 42 years old, this Cessna 310R is no youngster and was in the circuit on Monday after making the journey from distant  Fowlmere.
