As the weather messed up my plans, I ended up going to Duxford both days instead of just the Saturday. I thought the flying on Sunday was better than on Saturday. The Spitfire display on Saturday was poor with very little in the way of top side passes at the eastern end of the crowd line. Sunday was much better. Unfortunately, most of my tail chase Spit images are blurred anyway so they have hit the recycle bin. Very difficult to follow with a 500mm Cannon lens.
The show on Saturday ended with a rainbow.
Images were taken with a 40D plus 500mm lens or 30D plus 100-400 lens.
As I edited these images yesterday, I could hear the distant thunder of jets displaying at Farnborough airfield. It was a lovely day with beautiful blue sky and sunshine and I was not there!
Just back from Farnborough today. Will be uploading some RIAT pics later.
Thanks for looking
Martin

Your head-on shot of the three Mustangs is the bee’s knees!
