Duxford get-togther update 3

Dear all

Just to confirm that Sunday’s get-together is still all-a-go here…I have 12 folks confirmed so far, with a couple of hopefuls, so if anyone wants to turn up on the day please do…whether you’re a long standing member here or a relative “rookie” all are welcome, the more the merrier 🙂

I will be on-site from 8.30am onwards setting up in the Concorde Room…I have arranged with Robert for his talk to begin at about 11am…so if folks could try to be here at 10am we can have a chat first…grab a coffee in the Runway Cafe etc…

I will be at Hanger 1 when the Museum opens to meet Kev (I will be the one sporting Spitfire jewellery :)) but will endeavour to get back to the Concorde Room to meet you all asap…if you could all just make your own way through admissions and then to the Concorde Room (it is part of the same block as the Runway Cafe, between Hangers 3 and 4)

That should be ok, Ashley, just keep your ears and eyes open so if you should hear a clatter followed by a thud, then you should see a large blue lump lying on the tarmac. Don’t worry, that’ll just be me.

I’m definite too. I am aiming to be there between 9.30 and 10. Ashley, if it makes it easier for you you can take the wheelchair to the Concorde room if you like. I shall need a walk after the drive down and it’s not too far to the Concorde room is it?
