Duxford May 2014 Airshow – Worth Visiting The Friday Before The Show?

I’m attending the May 2014 Spring Airshow at Duxford and was wondering if it’s also worth staying an extra night to visit on the Friday before the show to see the practice and arrivals.

I’ve never been to Duxford on the Friday before a show before. Is there a lot of flying taking place?
