Duxford on the telly today..

in a positive light for a change..

as the weather was ‘orrible i was watching daytime TV (my excuse).. it was on a prog called ‘flog it’ .. basically antiques roadshow but they stick your stuff in an auction to see if their estimates are right..

anyway, they were at Duxford talking to a guy about the a/c collection then to a couple of bods who collected WW2 uniforms.. the presenter finsihed the piece by saying something like, “OK chaps I’ll let you go, you’ve got a mission to go on”… picture fades to black and white, stirring music plays as these 2 blokes saunter off then the camera pans on to one of the Dragon Rapides on its take off run!! hmm perhaps it wasn’t so funny after all, perhaps their misson was to flour bomb/annoy Ms Greer!!

by the way, where were you Ashley.. thourght you’d have been lurking in the background with your duster!!!
