Duxford Pre Airshow – 10Oct09

The Anson was already sitting on the airfield when I arrived. The Sea Fury was trundled out in the morning but there was too much cloud so it was early afternoon before Mr Grey went flying. The 2 T.28s went up, individually at first and then as a pair for a very nice routine. The Hawk took to the air as it couldn’t display the day before due to a spot of rain apparently. The BBMF Spitfire Mk II returned as well. The Kodiak is a nice looking aeroplane in the flesh despite being a box with wings. It was out on the pan at first and was then pushed between the hangers.
