Further to a previous thread which I am now unable to access for some reason, I’ve found more info about the participants for the September Battle of Britain Anniversary Airshow at DX.
TFC have generously updated their website, and at an initial glance made it stupidly difficult to navigate, though after a few visits, I’ve found it much more accesible than the old one.
Anyhow, waffle aside, the participant list looks pretty good as far as I’m concerned.

Anyone know the score with the Canberra? it must be a RAF one as Air Atlantiques is still on maintenance. Will it display ( very rare ) or just do a flyby? T4 or PR9 ?

Yeah, cheers Consul.
I realised just after I’d posted the thread that I’d referenced the wrong website. The source was indeed the IWM Duxford website.
Thanks for highlightin it further though.

Thanks for the heads up on the list – but I accessed it from the IWM site (not TFC) and your link too shows that as the source. Which is the Seafire – is it the one from North Weald (yet to fly) or an even more exotic one from the US perhaps (which is already airworthy)? Is the 109 perhaps to hop over from Wattisham – I thought that was to test flight in the US …. or is it a European restoration or a Buchon from up North .. Can anyone in the know clarify?

Two Brisfits and a Canberra do it for me.
Bet you the RAF still run the jets for ages on the ground and drown out a lot of the better noises.
Still shouldn’t be churlish, there’s many who are too far away will be grinding their teeth.
