Duxford – Sunday

Oh Dear – it started well but the wind increased and the old biplanes couldn’t fly, then Snafu (the P47) went u/s and then the high cloud moved in.

The Antonov AN2 made use of the wind to emphasise how slowly it could go

Rapide – note the silvered windows. This is, apparently, how it was when used as a wartime transport. The reason was to prevent passengers from seeing anything the authorities did not want them to.
