I’ll put the video back up on my website, but I’ll password protect it to try and control my bandwidth !
If you would like to download it, please send me a private message.

JJ: The link at the start of the thread hasn’t been working for a while now due to bandwidth restrictions. If you look at the bottom of page 1 there are some posts from users sharing the file on P2P networks. Perhaps you can download it through those.

Please help!!!
Dear all,
I just can’t download this video neither from home (Macintosh) nor form work (PC) where I keep getting same ‘URL Not Found’ error message.
Any help would be greatly appreciated… thanks in advance.
Jacques.

It just started downloading for the first time. Did 300 kB and stopped again. Looks like a lot of patience will be needed if it goes on like this, but I’ll keep things open and await what happens!

No, just bear with it. eMule is generally slow to start. If a few more people joined in you’d soon have more sources though !
By: Archer - 13th July 2004 at 19:20
Pretty surprising that it isn’t downloading then Crates!
I’ve had Emule on for the past hour now and nothing’s happening, should I be connected to a specific server perhaps???
By: Crates - 13th July 2004 at 19:13
Archer is correct. You need to install eMule and then either search for the file, or preferably enter the ed2k link I posted into your ‘Direct Download’ box on the search page.
Archer, you’re the only one in the queue so far 😮

Thanks for that Aero51, but it’s not turning up in the search yet. I’ll try again later tonight.
By: aero51 - 13th July 2004 at 17:37
Thanks for sharing it on Emule !
If anyone has Kazaa, I am sharing it on there as well. Just search for duxford.wmv

If you haven’t got a suitable program on your system yet, you could start here: http://www.emule-project.net
Otherwise you can copy the string crates posted in the ‘Direct download’ box at top right of the ‘Search’ page.
That’s how far I’ve gotten, right now the file seems available but I’m probably in the que on the other end as nothing is transfering yet. I’m patient though!

Trying to find the route too! Any clues?

Thanks for sharing the file Crates! I missed the first link, so am attempting the Emule route now!

I’m sharing it on eMule: “Legends 2004 Duxford.wmv”

I got it aero 51. Very nice impression of the show. This is gold for the ‘few’ who couldn’t make it to DX!
Thanks,
J.V.

That God for high speed internet!! I was able to download the whole thing.
I haven’t watched all of it yet, but what I have seen is great. For those of us far from the UK and far from Legends, this is, well, not quite like being there. But not bad at all!! It gives a very different sense of the event than the still photos do. Don’t get me wrong, I love those too. But there is more of a sense of action in the video, such as the Spitfire tail chase. A number have commented that the tail chase was one of the highlights of the day, but the still don’t capture it as more than some flypasts. The video does.
Thanks for posting this. Too bad you won’t be able to keep it up for long.

Thanks for sharing that areo51, was like being back there on Saturday!
Wondered how long your bandwidth would last when I downloaded it, know I looked at doing something similar a few years ago but bandwidth costs were horrendous for anything meaningful. Guess the situation hasn’t changed yet!

Wonderful stuff! For us poor suffering folks on the wrong side of the pond for Legends, that helped ease the pain.
Of course the pain of wanting my own Spit got worse, but that’s a good kind of pain 🙂

My ISP has given me 48 hours to reduce the bandwidth on my website ! Apparentely yesterday it was 3895.80MB, and my limit is 250MB per day.
I’ll leave the video file up for another 24 hours, and then I’ll have to remove it 😡

Downloading now – and for a while yet!
Thanks for your generosity in posting it for us all to see.

Glad you enjoyed it.
Overall, it was a good day. Only negative things were the press on the flight line, wind breaks, and unoccupied deck chairs !
