Went to Duxford on Sunday 27 February took a few pictures in two of the hangars. I left feeling impressed at how neat and tidy it all was including the restoration and maintenance in progress on the aircraft.
The only classic flying was the Stearman which did few turns and passes over the airfield prior to landing and being squeezed in to the hangar.

Interesting to see what happens inside and the next date for legends has just been marked down after seeing it displayed amongst your nicely taken set.:)

Some great shots of one of my favourite places. Nice to see the winter behind the scenes activity. I’m sure a lot of airshow attendees think these machines are just put away at the end of one airshow season and just sit there waiting for the next one. The rteality is vastly different as these shots prove. It’s not called winter maintenance for nothing.
