Ahhh, I do have a fair amount of models – none of them up to his standard, however, and probably mostly in a state of disrepair 🙁

You still got to beat that guy in an earlier thread with the huge amount of Spit models though !!!

Mk 24 rates among my favourite marks of Spits.
I love the Spiteful tail.

Didn’t I read somewhere that she was going to be strung up in the new exhibition space?

(Hmmm… I’ve got birthday money burning a hole in my pocket, I saw an Airfix Spit 24 kit the other day, and I’ve just got that airbrush…:D)

Not much difference from when I photographed her on 9th May 1987 at Kai Tak.

I personally would have liked to have seen the 80 Squadron code applied W2-M, just to set her apart photographically after all that hard work.
