Just wondering can anybody give me any information regarding the history of the Storch at Duxford.Thats the static example not the flyer. I Have acquired some nice photographs of the aircraft sat indoors but also on a rare occasion when it was taken outside for one of the Duxford shows. Unfortunately I would post them but they are old fashioned print pictures not the new fangled digital ones.
Am I right in asuming its a Morane built variant? Whats it’s past history? etc etc.
Im making a model of the aircraft using the photos as a guide and as is normal when I build something the more I look at the subject im building the more intrigued I become.
I Really must start reverting to building straight out of the box without using referances. Maybe that way I will complete models I begin.
Many thanks in advance PP

If only a former French Criquet painted in Indo China markings – well you can dream!

That’s the one. MS.502 previously civil-registered F-BCDG, modified with “aftermarket” Argus engine, originally acquired by DX in 1982. Painted to represent the Storch used by General Erich Hoepner, commander of the 4th Panzer Group, 1941.
