E-3 AWACS- What is the correct grey colour?

Hi All,

I am currently building 3 x E-3 AWACS models , a NATO E-3A in the 50th Anniversary colour scheme, an E-3C USAF and an RAF E-3D all in 1:144 scale. The problem is I am not entirely sure of the colours they should be painted. I know the RAF one should be Barley Grey but can anyone tell me the proper greys for the NATO version and the USAF one. I have read various suggestions from Compass Gray, Voodoo Gray, Light Gull Gray, Air Defence Gray and Boeing Gray. Please can someone help.

It would be an added bonus if anyone knows the proper blue colour to match the blue background on the NATO Anniversary scheme.

The E-3D is the Welsh models multimedia kit with the Vacuform fuselage and the resin wings, however, when the wingspan is compared to the Minicraft kit versions it is several millimeters shorter even with the wingtip ESM pods fitted, as far as I know the E-3D has the standard 145ft 10″ wingspan, same as the other versions of the E-3, does anyone know different or is it an error in the kit? I feel a Milliput session coming on.

Before anyone asks, no none of them are the 1:144 Revell version, even though I purchased two of them the only parts that are of any use are the Decals and the Rotodomes
