There was some talk about Flybe E195 when it was delivered, some speculations about EIS while the plane was doing test flights… and now there is a trip report???
When exactly and on which route was the Entry into Service of Flybe E195 – the first flight on schedule and with ticketed passengers?
How many E195s does Flybe have now, and on which routes are they used?
Who are the next E195 customers? There have been mentions of Swiss and Royal Jordanian – when are they due to start service?
What is the window pitch of E195? It is 500 mm on A320, 508 mm on B737 and 533 mm on B777. But the Flybe E195 cabin looks like every seat has just one window. Are all the seats equally aligned with window?

I think i can answer that one.
It appeared to me that forward of the wing exit (row 15 i think), the window alignment was terrible – the window came was postioned so that it was mostly obscured by the seat back. But where I was sitting, rear of the exit row (row 18), there was a window, a very large one, for each row.
Sounds like DC-8. Very large windows – 36 cm wide, much wider than the B787 Dreamliner windows, which are only 28 cm wide. But window pitch 1016 mm, meaning that many airlines had 40 inches legroom in Coach just as in First Class.
As for headroom, see

144 cm under bins.
Compare to B737:

or A318

159 cm under bins.

Don’t have an exact value for the window pitch though.

1 at the moment, based at Birmingham until next week. Has been doing domestic runs during week-days and goes to Toulouse and Bristol at the weekends. Likely to change though next week due to the winter schedules.
