I usualy fly into MCO or TPA and if the I had a free flight or the price was right using my silver virgin card then I will fly Virgin, even though I do not favour them. But most of the time it will be BA or a US carrier (usually US Airways or Delta etc). Also I live in Lowestoft right on the east coast, it’s pretty boring here for planes only the odd F-18 or Tornado or military freighter.

Got to go

Well you’ll be Glad to know EAL King, that G-BDXG, is in Hanger no.14 at AMS, with a blue tail and blue engines, awaiting what is said to be EAL’s news c/s… On the tail will be stars

It is due to roll out in the new colours on Saturday… keeps you eyes peeled for a pic of it on the net. 🙂

Welcome to the forums by the way! 🙂

EAL. Well being a person who travels to Florida around six times a year I must say one thing, You have’nt travelled. EAL (all cabins), Brittania (unless in premium), MyTravel (again unless in premium), Monarch etc …… Are all an uncomfortable way of travel on long haul. Plus the EAL aircraft are ex-BA 747-200’s and I flew on one of the last flights aboard them and all I can say is OOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLDDDDDDDDD ! If you want real travel to the US please don’t fly charter. Even Virgin is acceptable.

Also other than subject I hope you had trip to the sunshine state.
You were very lucky with your flights my friend.

Still in school is one thing, but try and mix in a comma, perhaps a full stop, or something. Sentence structure, the final frontier….

EAL sound pretty good for a charter service.
Is this Travel City anything to do with Bath Travel?

I had trouble reading that for the sheer lack of punctuation.

When I went up to LGW the time before last, the Blue EAL jumbo was parked up in a remote area, just right of the LGW control Tower. This was on a Sunday afternoon.

You do see a few of the aircraft on remote stands at Gatwick from time to time.

An EAL 747 is regularly seen leaving for Sanford on Saturdays around lunchtime and returns on Sunday morning. To my knowledge this is a weekly occurence.

a larger percentage on EALs work with the jumbos is standing in for other operators when a/c go tech, for example if a BY B762 went tech, and they couldn’t find another a/c to fill the GAP EAC would use the extra capacity to fill in. I believe that they do also have an agreement with a number of independant tour operators – some of the locals might be able to help you…
