Still digging through the box of old, errr, transparencies. (thankyou Firebird!):D
These brought back a few happy memories of Teesside (or Durham Tees Valley as they seem to call it today. Figured there’d be those of similar minds too.
All these were taken in 1974/75. The old North East/BA Tridents and Dan-Air Comets were regulars on the package holiday flights to Spain, Air Anglia DC3s were on the Norwich-Aberdeen ‘milk run’ and nearby Catterick garrison ensured a steady stream of trooping flights with 10 Squadron VC-10s.
Must try to dig out some pics of the British Midland Viscounts sometime…….

Nice,those are early ones, Thanks!
you are confusing Channel with Court Line, I lived near Luton Airport in the early ’70s and remember their 111s and Tristars well.
Channel were the Black and Gold, as per a recent thread on this very forum!

Nice Pics L&S
do you have any of an earlier vintage that feature Channel Airways aircraft?
Haven’t been able to find anything (yet) though still looking. I seem to remember that they were similar to the NE Tridents but were they pink instead of yellow??
Or am I getting confused with those Court Line shockers?
Anyway hope these keep you going…..
