Found these drawings in different old “Flug Revue” issues ranging from ’74 – ’78 … I’m not sure but they seem to show – as the text tells – early McDonnell Douglas studies during the ADTI-programme (Advanced Fighter Technology Integration).
It shows two different designs called model 265-1 and 265-2: No. 1 is the bigger one supposedly more suited for the air-to-ground role and the smaller No. 2 optimised for STOL with moveable outer wings and a flat rudder-tail.
Does anyone have some more info regarding these two models ????
