Earthquake and the BBMF?

Hi all,

I’m sure we all heard the news about the Earthquake today up in Lincolnshire. We certainly felt it down here in Surrey! Have heard snippets of news all day, and assume that all is ok with the various warbirds based up there, but wondered if anyone could confirm that all persons and aircraft are still intact! News on anything welcome, BBMF, Just Jane etc etc.

Thanks,

Rich.

SWMBO,said it’s the first time she’s felt the earth move for ages.

Don’t know what she meant by that,as I was asleep at the time…….

Well said. I don’t know why everyone’s making such a fuss over a few broken chimneys and one injured teenager.

Thats easy for you to say… But as someone with 3 vintage aircraft less than 10 miles from the epicenter of the quake, I can tell you that I was nervous about them this morning.

Earthquake, what earthquake??

Never heard or felt anything in rural Hertfordshire. Oh well, better make a note as the next one will be in about 30 years time.

All the news reports are full of it but then there is no better way to alarm everyone, is there!

And stop ready the Daily Mail. It will only over-excite you.
