A few pictures from each of these museums – apologies for quality but they were taken in 1989 in print form.

Lovely photos there Evžen. Do you know if they have the wings for these aircraft and have just removed them for ease of display?

Voytech,
a few more from the museum in East Berlin – some of the same aircraft but showing a bit more of the surrounding buildings.

Voytech,
I seem to remember it being called the Central Army Museum rather than anything ‘air force’ and there were a few tanks / artillery pieces around as well – I may have a couple more pics that show more of the building. I also think that there may have been a thread on that museum previously but a quick search did not find anything

thanks for the positive ID
Don’t hesitate to ask if you have any other weird Polish stuff there.
Can you identify the exact East Berlin location for me? Any more photos that show the building? It has just struck me that some wartime photos of captured allied aircraft exhibition may have been taken there, too.

on the tail it say MD-12 – possibly an Illyushin
Misztal-Duleba MD-12 – a passenger/aerial survey machine of Polish design. Never built in quantity.
