I did a quick search and couldnt find anything about this on the forum. East Fortune now has a new addition in way of Jaguar XZ119 “Katrina Jane”

The Phantom is still the fleet air arm museum’s is it not?
I hope ‘black mike’ carries on as a hangar queen as she is apparently really well looked after.
Either way another Jag for preservation has to be good.

Black Mike…..Still useful and doing its bit at the Leuchars displays by opening up for cockpit photos and making money for the fund. Long may it continue.

Yeah, Black Mike…. She is also the Lands End to John O’Groats record holder (this was done when she was with 43 Sqn RAF Leuchars)!

FG1’s
Yeah, there are still three Phantom FG1’s at RAF Leuchars. Please do not let these beasts face the axe!

Pleasant surprise indeed. Now get a proper RAF Phantom!!!

Good to see a Jag appearing there. Hope they can find a space for it.
I agree with your comments Robert.

Still prefer the Bolingbroke to be finished and the Beaufighter to be worked on but I suppose it will have been obtained at minimal cost and ready for display
