The weather was kind and JJ did a couple of turns around the airfield and the BBMF Lanc paid tribute above. The Pegasus Dak did a few passes as well. A good selection of renactors added flavour as did a rather good young lady singing the hits of the 40’s in the hanger.

I only use a good phone camera and have downloaded an app which takes good mono and sepia images.

Thanks, I took them on a cheap point and shoot digi and converted to b&w on the computer. I have been trying to find a way of taking digi WW2 style pics using the camera rather than messing about in photoshop, this little Vivitar, (tenner off a mate) seems to do the job.

it was a bit of a tease to see the BBMF Lancaster approaching with the undercarriage down
You sort of thought, well in two or three years that might be JJ for real – although having done the QM tour yesterday, I didn’t really understand which runway they are going to use.
